IF THIS HAS TO BE MY LAST DAY

If this has to be my last day 
I would love to live it my way.

‘Thank you God’ is all I would say.

For your happiness, I would pray.
That day I will get up early,

And walk through the roads alone.

I would smile to everyone I see,

And return with more people known.
On the last day of my life,

I want you to be with me.

Hold my hands like never before,

And help me cross the sea.
I want you all to be happy,

With all the good I have ever done.

Please forgive me for the wrong,

And remember me as a beautiful song.
I want you all to know,

That I tried to give the best shot.

And I am thankful to you,

For all the love I got.
On the last day of my existence, 

I want to be a child again.

Less with tension and less with stress,

Pure and  fresh like the rain.
If this has to be my last day,

I want you to bring everyone I know.

I want to see them smiling,

And after that I could happily go.
During the last few breathes,

When I will turn weak,

Lay me on a flower bed,

Stay there and look at me, till I am dead.
Tell my father, not to cry,

All I could do, I did in my life.

Tell him not to burn me on woods.

Burying me deep will be good.
Do not forget me,

Remember me if you can.

Or I will think that,

My life has gone in vain.
